As a leading distributor and supplier of professional equipment, essential goods and services with seven decades of experience, representing 45 renowned brands and 35,000 Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) in our inventory, we are capable of catering to both professional and individual clients; to fulfil their diverse needs and pragmatic functions. Our team travel extensively, for global sourcing from 18 countries and we have exclusive direct distributorship from 21 brands to ensure better, competitively prices to our clients.

Company Timeline

1948
The establishment of Lau Choy Seng.
1960s
Shop relocation to 38 Temple Street, and the continuation of its business. Mr. Lau Swee Hong, son of Mr. Lau Chew Tat joined the company in the 1960s.
1970s
In view of the potential in Food & Beverages Industry, the business started to divert. Lau Choy Seng ventured into kitchenware supply and mainly focused at Chinese Kitchenware. Lau Choy Seng began to self-import kitchenware from Hong Kong by the late of 70s in order to provide quality products at competitive price to the growing client's profile.
1990
Following its business expansion, Lau Choy Seng advanced by renting a new 8,000 sqft warehouse at 20 Penjuru Road whilst adapting a stream of changes over the last few decades.
1993
Lau Choy Seng relocated its retail outlet to 23 & 25 Temple Street, occupying two retail shop units. A more extensive range of Chinese Kitchen Equipment is subsequently added to the company’s showcase.
1999
Thanks to the unstinting support and ever-growing demands of the HoReCa industry, Lau Choy Seng successfully expanded its warehouse from 8,000 sq. ft to 20,000 sq. ft; located at 86, Tuas Avenue 11.
2000s
Lau Choy Seng continues to seek for opportunity, by the year of 2006 we’ve made remarkable progress- first established project internationally with Holiday Inn Melacca. Follow by few local major projects includes St. Regis Singapore, Resorts World & Marina Bay Sands.
2007
As its sales continue to accelerate, Lau Choy Seng expands its warehouse space further ̶ from 20,000 sq. ft to 45,000 sq. ft at 30, Tuas West Ave.
2010
Lau Choy Seng is now a direct distributor and stockist for more than 35 brands and has over 20,000 products in its stock list for Tableware, Barware and Cutleries, as well as Chinese, Japanese and Western Utensils, Kitchenware, and Food Service Equipment.
2015
Lau Choy Seng established a new showroom branch in Malaysia, named LCS Hospitality Solutions Sdn Bhd, dedicated to serve its growing Malaysian clientele.
